Free Fire Halloween brings a hidden map and free rewards
Garena's Halloween event runs until November 1 with the Lado Oculto alternate map, a haunted mansion and free items like the Sombra da Noite outfit.

Halloween has arrived in Free Fire. Garena's spooky event, called "O Oculto" in Brazil, runs from October 16 to November 1 and adds new mechanics, missions and free rewards to one of the most played mobile games in the country.
The Hidden Side
The highlight is the Máscara do Além. In Battle Royale and Contra Squad, it gives access to the "Lado Oculto", an alternate version of the map where characters move faster and jump higher. The effect ends when the player attacks or takes damage, returning them to the normal map. It is a mechanic that rewards surprise and careful positioning.
Puppets and a haunted mansion
- Eliminated players come back as "Fantoches" (puppets) as long as a squad member is still alive.
- A haunted mansion offers daily missions and a panic level that rises during the event.
Free rewards
Players can earn several items without spending diamonds:
- The Sombra da Noite outfit set.
- The Fuga Macabra jeep skin.
- The Serra Elétrica machete.
Other themed outfits, such as Terror Noturno, Aparição Noturna and Criatura Macabra, are also part of the event.
Famous faces
The promotional video features well-known Brazilian Free Fire creators, including Coringa, Guras, MOB and Brava, which shows how much Garena invests in the local community for its seasonal events.
The event takes place on the OB55 version, which has been live since mid-September. With little more than a week left, it is worth logging in daily to complete the missions and secure the free items before the event ends on November 1.
